Senior Non-Emergency Medical Transportation
Seniors using Age Well’s transportation service must be at least 60 years of age and reside within the South Orange County designated service area. This includes the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine, Laguna Woods, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Newport Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Capistrano Beach. Destination addresses that fall outside of the designated service area are limited to maximum trip length of 15 miles from the client residence to the medical facility
Professionally trained drivers provide transportation on our modern fleet of accessible buses and vans. Riders pay a $2.00 per one-way trip charge (care attendants ride free of charge).
Age Well Transportation Program Highlights:
- Provides transportation to non-emergency medical appointments including therapy, chemotherapy, dentistry, hearing, dialysis, prescription pick-ups, testing and x-rays.
- Participants must be at least 60 years of age
- Participants will be charged $2.00 per one-way trip. Care attendants ride free of charge
- Participants must reside within South Orange County designated service area, which includes the cities of Aliso Viejo, Dana Point, Irvine, Laguna Woods, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach, Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch, Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Newport Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Capistrano Beach.
- Clients are limited to a maximum of eight one-way trips per month (or four round-trips) with the exception of on-going medical treatments such as chemotherapy, dialysis, radiation treatments and physical therapy
- Eligible participants must register through the mail prior to utilizing the services
